Dashboard & My Actions

Your workspace overview and personal task management — see what needs your attention at a glance.

The Home dashboard and My Actions views are your starting points in Dial8 — they surface the work that matters to you right now.

Home Dashboard

The Home view gives you a snapshot of your workspace:

My Actions

See your assigned actions organized by status:

  • In Progress — Work you're actively doing
  • Upcoming — Actions due soon
  • Overdue — Past-due items that need attention
  • Recently Completed — What you've shipped

Up Next

Your next calendar event for today, with a direct link to join or view details.

Upcoming Meetings

Upcoming meetings from your connected calendars, showing auto-capture status for each. Meetings with 2+ attendees can automatically create pending captures for recording.

Pending Review

Captures that have been processed by AI but need your review — confirming extracted actions and decisions before they become real workspace items.

Active Cycles

Current sprint/cycle progress for your teams, showing completion metrics and how many actions are done vs. remaining.

My Projects

Projects you're involved in, with milestone progress bars and counts of open and overdue actions.

Recent Captures

Your latest meeting recordings and their processing status.

My Actions (Todo)

The My Actions view is a focused task manager for your personal workload, accessible from the sidebar.

Scope Tabs

  • Assigned — Actions assigned to you
  • Created — Actions you created (regardless of assignee)

Filter Tabs

  • All — Everything
  • Today — Due today
  • This Week — Due this week
  • Overdue — Past due date
  • Completed — Finished items

Quick Actions

  • Add new actions inline from the todo view
  • Toggle completion status with a single click
  • See priority, due date, project, labels, assignee, and comment count at a glance

Onboarding

When your workspace is new and empty, the dashboard shows an onboarding guide to help you get started — connecting accounts, creating your first team, and importing data.
